WAYS FRANCHISE

Open your own WAYS.

A proven model. A real path to your own business.

Build your own WAYS location around a concept already built and running across a real network of our own sites. You get a recognizable brand, operating know-how, a product and retail system, technology, training, and support: from picking the location to running it day to day.

Applying doesn't commit you to anything. Every partner, format, and location is reviewed individually.

More than coffee. More than a store.

WAYS is a modern format built for people's everyday routes. In one place, customers find quality coffee and drinks, easy food options, and a carefully curated retail range. Fast, simple, and in a pleasant setting. The concept pairs a strong coffee and bar zone with convenience retail, and adapts to different sizes and types of locations.

  • Coffee & drinks

A developed menu, clear recipes, quality standards, and seasonal drinks that evolve together with the network.

  • Food for a day on the move

Breakfast, lunch, a quick bite, and on-the-go options, matched to each location's own profile.

  • A curated retail range

Structured categories, recognizable brands, impulse products, and everyday essentials.

  • Formats that adapt

The model works in office buildings, shopping centers, retail parks, street locations, and anywhere with steady foot traffic.

Several customer missions. One location.

WAYS doesn't rely on a single reason to visit. Customers come in for morning coffee, breakfast, lunch, a drink, a quick purchase, or something they need along the way, in the office building, the mall, the street, or the retail park. Different reasons, different times of day, one location.

  1. Frequent reasons to visit

Coffee, drinks, food, and small everyday purchases create the potential for regular customer behavior.

  2. Several revenue streams

The bar, the food, and the retail range complement each other and work across different parts of the day.

  3. A format shaped by the place

The range, the equipment, and the layout adapt to the location and its customer profile.

  4. A system that keeps evolving

Products, planograms, campaigns, and operating standards get updated based on the whole network's experience and results.

A format matched to the location and the investment

Not every location calls for the same size location. WAYS grows through three formats that let the concept adapt to the size of the unit, the customer flow, the commercial potential, and the available investment.

  • WAYS Compact

    15-40 m²

A compact format for high-traffic locations: focused on coffee, drinks, food on the go, and a curated impulse range.

    Suited for

    • office buildings
    • kiosks
    • shopping centers
    • food courts & transit locations
    • small-footprint units

    Estimated investment

    €70,000 – €90,000

  • WAYS Standard

    40-80 m²

The core WAYS format: a full bar zone, a wider retail range, and flexible fit for different commercial locations.

    Suited for

    • business buildings
    • neighborhood & street locations
    • shopping centers
    • retail parks
    • partnerships with large retail operators

    Estimated investment

    €90,000 – €125,000

  • WAYS Extended

    80-120 m²

An extended format: a bigger bar zone, additional product categories, and a richer customer experience, including seating where possible.

    Suited for

    • strong urban locations
    • larger business centers
    • shopping & retail complexes
    • high-potential regional centers

    Estimated investment

    €125,000 – €160,000

The exact format isn't picked by preference alone. It's set after assessing the location, foot traffic, competitive environment, investment, and the expected way of operating.

A clear investment picture, before you decide

Every location is different. The size of the investment depends on the format, the condition of the unit, technical requirements, equipment, and the working capital you'll need. Estimated ranges by format are listed above.

The investment covers

  • Design & planning
  • Fit-out & construction
  • Bar & retail equipment
  • ERP & POS systems
  • Initial stock
  • Training

To confirm before this goes live: VAT treatment and a recommended working-capital range.

The figures shown are estimates. They are not a promise or guarantee of any specific revenue, profit, or payback period. The partnership's commercial terms, including fees and royalties, are presented individually in a meeting, together with everything you get in return.

You don't start from a blank page.

Building your own concept means developing a brand, menu, recipes, product range, suppliers, planograms, interior, equipment, technology, training, reporting, marketing, and controls. With WAYS, a large part of that system is already built, running in real locations, and kept evolving by a central team.

  • You build a brand and concept from zero
You work under an established brand and concept
  • You test formats with your own money
You choose from three structured formats
  • You assess the location on your own
You get criteria and hands-on help assessing it
  • You design the interior and layout
You get design and functional standards
  • You source equipment and suppliers
You work from ready specs and approved suppliers
  • You create the menu, recipes, and costings
You get a developed bar and product system
  • You pick a range without data
You get a range architecture and planograms
  • You build the processes yourself
You get standards, procedures, and training
  • You choose ERP and reporting from scratch
You join a shared tech and reporting system
  • You create marketing and content on your own
You get central marketing plus local tools
  • You rely only on your own experience
You draw on the experience and R&D of the whole network

A franchise doesn't remove the entrepreneurial work or the risk. It replaces a large part of the unknowns, the R&D, and the trial and error with a built foundation, a clear system, and ongoing support.

Not just the right to a brand. A whole business infrastructure.

Here's what you get as a WAYS partner: from the concept to day-to-day support.

Brand, concept & know-how
The right to build a business under the WAYS brand, with access to the concept, visual system, customer standards, product logic, and operating know-how. The system isn't static. It's updated as products, technology, and on-the-ground experience evolve.
Location, investment planning & business model
Criteria and hands-on help for: a preliminary location assessment, traffic and customer-profile analysis, format selection, technical feasibility, an investment budget, required working capital, a baseline P&L, a review of key lease terms, and a timeline from approval to opening. Financial scenarios are a planning tool, not a guarantee of results.
Design, equipment & fit-out
From an empty unit to your first customer, on a structured plan: layout, interior concept adaptation, technical and brand standards, material and equipment specs, approved suppliers and contractors, a budget framework, the WAYS Build Book, a milestone schedule, a pre-opening checklist, and a final readiness check.
Products, menu & R&D
Not a one-off menu, but a product system: a core menu, recipe book, portioning and execution standards, cost calculations, approved ingredients, quality rules, seasonal drinks, new development, updates, pricing guidance, and cost control.
Retail range & planograms
A system for running the retail side: category structure, a required range, room for local adaptation, planograms and shelving rules, minimum stock levels, promotional and seasonal items, sales analysis, control of dead stock and shrinkage, and updates based on network results. Not a list of products, but a system for what's sold, where, how much, and why.
Operations, team & training
Initial training, bar training, recipes and quality, retail operations, customer service, shift management, receiving and ordering stock, stocktaking, waste and shrinkage control, food hygiene and safety, opening/closing standards, manager training, opening-day support, and ongoing refresher training.
ERP, reporting & business management
Your location runs on a shared tech and reporting stack: ERP/POS setup and training, item catalog, recipes and cost prices, stock, ordering and deliveries, cash and operational reporting, sales reports, financial templates, and KPIs benchmarked against the network. Includes a monthly business review: sales, average ticket, product mix, gross margin, cost of goods, labor cost, stock, waste and shrinkage, marketing results, plus a concrete improvement plan.
Supply, equipment, consumables & uniforms
Access to approved equipment models and technical specs, product suppliers, coffee and ingredients, packaging, branded cups and consumables, POS materials, uniforms, service partners, rules on acceptable substitutes, and negotiated or centralized commercial terms where available. Important: goods, equipment, consumables, uniforms, and service are billed separately per order and agreed terms, unless explicitly included in a specific starter package.
Marketing & sales growth
A shared marketing system: positioning and brand standards, a marketing plan and local opening campaign, a central content calendar, seasonal and product campaigns, ready-made visuals, social content, promotional mechanics, national activity, PR and partnerships, a local marketing toolkit, analysis and optimization, and future CRM/loyalty mechanics. You're not opening a standalone location that has to build its own voice from scratch. You're joining a shared brand and system.
Professional services
Access to approved professional partners and standardized solutions on preferential or pre-negotiated terms, where available: accounting, payroll, legal services, labor law, insurance, financing, occupational health, food safety, permits and admin processes, security, telecoms, and service and maintenance.

A real concept. Real locations.

WAYS isn't an idea that only exists in a deck. The concept is built out across a real network of our own locations, in different cities, sizes, and types of places. That hands-on experience is the foundation of the franchise system.

We built WAYS as a business for people's everyday routes. We grew the model across our own network, different cities, formats, and types of locations. Now we're ready to share it with partners who want to build WAYS alongside us.

WAYS' founder

The founder

[Founder's name] has been behind WAYS from day one, and has sat on the other side of the table too, as a franchise partner, before building his own chain. The full story and photo go here once confirmed.

An entrepreneur who wants to build a real business

WAYS Franchise isn't a passive investment or a get-rich-quick scheme. We're looking for partners who:

  • have the required capital of their own, or a realistic financing plan
  • want to be personally involved in growing the business
  • have management, sales, or entrepreneurial experience
  • know their local market well
  • can build and manage a team
  • are comfortable working to shared standards, and value accountability, discipline, and consistency
  • want a long-term partnership and have the potential for one or more locations
  • Active owner-operator

Invests in and personally runs their first location.

  • Existing entrepreneur

Already runs a business, store, venue, or team, and is looking for the next opportunity.

  • Regional partner

Knows the local market and has the capacity for more than one location.

  • Investor with an operating partner

Provides the capital, with a clearly defined, trusted person running it day to day.

We're probably not a fit if

  • you want passive income from day one, with no operating structure
  • you plan to change the model to suit your own taste
  • you see the location as an asset to flip quickly

Do you have a property with steady foot traffic?

An office building, a mall, a street location, or a retail park. The location is half of a WAYS location's success. Applications with a specific property get priority review.

From application to opening day

  1. Application

Tell us about yourself, your region, your investment plan, and your interest in WAYS. Takes about 3 minutes.

  2. Initial call

Within 2 business days, we talk for 20-30 minutes: experience, motivation, possible format, capital, timeline.

  3. Meeting

We walk through the model in detail: concept, formats, the support system, and the commercial terms.

  4. A day inside WAYS

You step into a working location during a real busy hour and see the business from the inside: the bar, the retail zone, the tech, the team.

  5. Format, territory & investment framework

We settle on a city, district, and format, and put together a preliminary investment and working-capital framework.

  6. Approval & contract

A final review, a legal review with time for your own lawyer, and signing.

  7. Design & fit-out

Design, equipment, supply, systems, and an opening schedule with milestones.

  8. Training & launch

We prepare you, the manager, and the team, and run the opening plan. Ongoing development starts from there.

The path from application to contract usually takes [60-90] days. And it runs both ways: you're choosing us just as much as we're choosing you.

Questions & answers

Do I need experience in the coffee or retail business?
Prior experience helps, but it isn't required in every case. What matters more is management capacity, entrepreneurial discipline, financial readiness, and a willingness to follow the WAYS system.
Do I need to already have a location?
No. You can apply either with a specific property or without one yet. WAYS provides search criteria and reviews every proposal before final approval. Applications with a specific property get priority review.
How much investment is needed?
It depends on the format, the size, the condition of the unit, the equipment, and the working capital you'll need. Estimated ranges are shown in the Formats section; an individual framework is put together after preliminary approval.
What are the commercial terms: fees, royalties?
We walk through the partnership terms in detail in a meeting, together with everything you get in return: the system, the training, the support, and access to the network's ongoing R&D.
Can I use outside financing?
Yes. We discuss your own share of the investment and the financing structure individually, based on the format and location; for the rest, we help through partners offering bank or leasing finance.
How long does opening take?
Roughly [XX-XX] weeks from approving a specific location to your first working day, depending on the format, the condition of the unit, and admin procedures. After approval, we put together a real schedule with milestones.
Can I develop more than one WAYS location?
Yes. Candidates with the required capital, management structure, and proven operating capacity can be considered for more than one location, or for regional development.
Can I choose my own products and suppliers?
Core products, ingredients, equipment, and standards are set by WAYS, to keep quality consistent across the network. Local suggestions are reviewed and approved when they fit the concept and standards.
Does WAYS guarantee a specific profit or return?
No. Results depend on the location, the investment, the rent, management, the team, the market, and how closely the system is followed. WAYS provides a model, tools, and support, but doesn't guarantee a specific financial outcome.
Which cities are you looking for partners in?
Priority cities and open territories are updated based on the network's growth plan. Every application is reviewed individually, including for locations outside our current footprint.
